Earlier, on October 3, the Cabinet Division issued a notification forming five of these commissions. The Constitutional Reform Commission was later formed on October 6. All commissions were initially given 90 days to submit their reports.
As such, the tenure of all commissions except the Judicial Reform Commission expired on Thursday, January 2, while the Judicial Reform Commission’s initial tenure was set to end on January 4.
To gather opinions and suggestions, the commissions opened websites, conducted dialogues with stakeholders, held discussions, conducted surveys, and collected written feedback. These proposals and opinions are being reviewed and incorporated into the reports, which are currently under preparation.
