TELEPAB’s new President Arshad Adnan, Secretary Dodul

Arshad Adnan and Sazzad Hossain Dodul have been selected President and General Secretary of TELEPAB (Television & Digital Programme Producers’ Association of Bangladesh) respectively.
Adnan-Dodul was elected President and General Secretary at the annual conference of TELEPAB held at Banani Club in the capital last Saturday and the new committee was announced. They will serve in the term of 2024-26.
The newly selected President Arshad Adnan said, “The present is the digital age. In the digital age, YouTube content is being promoted without complying with the policy. After taking responsibility, the first thing I will do is to bring it into policy. Everyone sits together with everyone else within the policy. Secondly, you are aware that several producers have been owing money to Ekushey TV for a long time. We will give them a letter. We will work to protect the interests of producers.”
Expressing gratitude to everyone, Vice President Rokeya Prachi said, “It has been proven that we can make a committee by selecting together, it is orderly. We’ve got dynamic President and General Secretary. We are especially happy to have President Arshad Adnan. It will be convenient for us to do a lot of work. I will work with everyone to protect the interests of the producers. This event can be taken much further.”
General Secretary Dodul shared his feelings by this way after selection, “I gave some manifestos when I was elected in the last term and now I have the opportunity to fulfill them. I will work with them now. We’ve got a dynamic President. Now it will be easy to fulfill our manifesto. I will work on some other issues. Several problems have been created in the last two years and I will solve them. We will work together to protect the interests of the producers.” Rokeya Prachi and Mir Fakhruddin Chhotan were elected as Vice-presidents in the new committee. Assistant General Secretary: Ashraful Alam Bablu, Organising Secretary: Anonno Emon, Finance Secretary: Sanjid Sarkar, Office Secretary: Faruk Mahmud, Press and Publication Secretary: Masud Karim Sujon, and Law Affairs Secretary: Mokhlesur Rahman. The five executive members are: Monwar Patha, Saju Muntasir, Raju Alim, Jahangir Hossain Babor and Ainul Islam Chanchal.
