Leaders in the rally said that tea workers of National Tea Company including Lakkatura, Kewachara, Daldali have been deprived of wages for 3 months. Tea workers are living a subhuman life without getting wages. The stalemate started after the fall of the government on August 5. The previous fascist government fell through the anti-discrimination movement, naturally people expected the end of discrimination, but the workers are the most discriminated against. The agitation has been going on since the last Durga Puja, despite the bonus being paid due to the agitation, regular wages are not being paid. In the meantime, nothing is being obtained except giving memorandums through the District Commissioner and giving assurances in the face of various protests, only the assurances do not satisfy the workers, the children and the workers are left helpless, the shop does not even get the rest.
