Scholarships have been distributed among the students living in tea workers community and slum areas. On Sunday (June 2) morning, under the initiative of Reliant Women’s Development Organization (RWDO) and with the support of Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF), 40 meritorious and needy students of Lakkatora tea garden in Sylhet Sadar were distributed scholarships of Tk 4,000.
Reliant Women Development Organization (RWDO) Executive Director Samita Begum Meera, Admin and Accounts Officer Md. Mohsin Reza, program supervisor Jahidul Islam Rashid, Program Officer Babul Kumar Singh, Lakkatora Tea Garden Panchayat Committee President Situ Lohar, RWDO School Teacher Reba Sinha, Swapna Dev, Volunteer Maryam Sarkar also in the programme.
Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF) education scholarship beneficiaries were also present here.
