After Sylhet phase of Dutch-Bangla Bank Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket, Zakir Hasan of Sulhet Strikers is now the highest scorer.
Zakir Hasan scored 251 runs after playing six innings of six matches for Sylhet. He hit three half centuries and played a key role for two wins of Sylhet Strikers. His strike rate is 149.40.
Chittagong Kings’ Pakistani recruit Usman Khan scored 249 runs after playing four innings. He struck a century in his BPL campaign.
His strike rate is 171. 72. Tanzid Hasan Tamim of Dhaka Capitals scored 246 runs with a century and his strike rate is 138.20, while Litton Das of Dhaka Capitals scored 240 runs. He hit a century and his strike rate is 164. 38. Saif Hassan of Rangpur Riders scored 228 runs. His strike rate is 126.66.
Taskin Ahmed of Durbar Rajshahi is the highest wicket taker after Sylhet phase. He captured 14 wickets playing six matches. He grabbed seven wickets for 19 runs in a match. It is the highest wicket haul in a match in BPL history. Taskin’s economy is 6.72.
Abu Haider of Khulna Tigers is the second highest wicket taker. He captured 11 wickets playing five matches. His economy is 9.87. Tanzim Hasan Sakib of Sylhet Strikers also claimed 11 wickets. But he played six matches. His economy is 9.80.
Rangpur Riders’ Pakistani recruit spinner Khushdil Shah captured nine wickets. His economy is 6.00.
Spinner Mahedi Hasan of Rangpur Riders’ grabbed nine wickets. His economy is 8.00.
Promising speedster Nahid Rana of Rangpur Riders also bagged nine wickets. His economy is 8.46.
Apart from Takin Ahmed, no bowler could bag five wickets in a match.
