BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is almost ready to return to the country, said the party’s Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.
He shared this information at a press conference on Saturday at Hotel Sarina in Banani, Dhaka.
Amir Khosru said Tarique Rahman will return to the country soon and will lead the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
Rejecting the claim that Tarique Rahman will not return, Amir Khosru said, “Those who spread such rumours will continue to do so.”
Regarding whether Dr. Zubaida Rahman will enter politics, he said it is entirely her personal decision.
He added that Begum Khaleda Zia’s overseas travel depends on her health condition, and the doctors’ decision will be final in this regard. He also said that the coalition’s candidates will be finalised very soon.
