Tareen in BTV’s new drama ‘Sagor Konnya’

Tareen Jahan, one of the popular actresses of the country’s drama arena, whose dramas are eagerly awaited by the audience. In case of acting in the drama, Tareen is very focused on the story and her characters. When she still gets offered an acting role, she takes the story very seriously and also tries to understand her character very seriously. Due to which the directors are still interested in working with Tareen Jahan in leading and challenging roles.
Tareen had earlier experience to act under production of BTV’s producer Mahbuba Ferdous in television dramas. From Thursday, Tareen again started shooting of a drama titled ‘Sagor Konnya’ under her production. Animesh Aich wrote story of the drama.
Tareen is playing the title role in the drama. While talking about acting in the drama, Tareen told this correspondent, “The truth is that I have never been to Kuakata before. I like to go to Barishal by launch. And I enjoy shooting especially outside Dhaka during this winter. Story of drama ‘Sagor Konnya’ is nice. BTV is now more conscious in producing dramas. BTV now has a special focus on how to make dramas better. If the story requires shooting outside BTV, it is also being done. Main thing is that BTV is now more serious than ever in producing dramas. This is a very good aspect. I give thanks to Mahbuba Ferdous Apa.”
Meanwhile, Tareen has already played in role of a customs officer in a drama for the first time. She acted in SA Haque Alik directed drama ‘Swarnomanab-5’ in this role. Mosharraf Karim acted opposite her in the drama. Therefore, Tareen also acted in a story feature titled ‘Sei Ratrir Roktoshrot,’ directed by Anjan Aich, said the actress.
