Tanzika Amin has been working in the media for almost two decades. However, she has made a new name for herself after the arrival of OTT.
Tanzika caught the eye two years ago after the release of Ashfaque Nipun’s ‘Mohanagar 2’ web series. She has received praise from everyone, from showbiz people to the general audience.
After that, Tanzika has acted in several other contents on OTT. Two web films starring Tanzika Amin will be released on two different platforms this month.
One is Sharaf Ahmed Jibon’s ‘Dimlight’, and the other is Raihan Rafi’s ‘Amimanshito’.
Tanzika is very happy with the news of the release of two web films at the end of the year.
She said that she will be seen in two different characters in the two web films.
The actress said, “In the last month of this year, two web films starring me are being released on OTT.
This is a great joy for me. I’m coming in front of the audience with two different types of work.
I have tried to portray the two characters with my best. The audience will tell me how I did after watching. If they like it, I will be happy.”
Tanzika plays the role of a housewife from a middle-class family in movie ‘Dimlight’.
The actress said about the movie, “‘Dimlight’ is made about the story of this time. It is actually the story of all of us. The story of the movie is made about the story of midlife crisis.
My character’s name is Tania. Mosharraf Karim plays the role of my husband. The movie will be released on December 11 on Chorki.”
Tanzika acted in the web film ‘Amimanshito’ two years ago. It was stuck for so long due to being stuck with the Censor Board.
Finally, the web film will be released on iScreen this month.
Tanzika said, “Although it is old, this is one of my favourite works. Here I will be seen in the role of a journalist.
Imtiaz Barshan is playing the role of my husband. He is also a journalist. One night, the couple is murdered in their house.
The story of this film is about the mystery of who or why killed them.”
‘Amimanshito’ is based on the murder of the controversial journalist couple Sagar-Runi.
This is also hinted at in the movie’s teaser. Therefore, the audience has a special interest in the movie.
Tanzika is somewhat afraid due to this expectation of the audience. In this regard, she said, “I had to hurry a little to play the role of a journalist.
Because, playing such a role is very challenging. After all, she is a journalist; the character is already established on her.
Everyone has such high expectations for this job, and I’m a little afraid of how much I will be able to fulfill it. However, I have confidence.
