We usually describe someone as generous who is naturally noble. One person’s generosity benefits others. Generosity brings peace to people’s lives. Generosity is a quality that elevates a person to a position of sky-high dignity. Tania Brishty, the popular actress of this generation of Bangladeshi TV dramas, seems to have demonstrated that generosity.
Usually, an established star actor/actress doesn’t want to act with a completely new artiste. Because acting with a new co-star raises doubts about the audience appeal or success of that work.
But Tania Brishty took on a lot of challenges in that regard and worked with newcomer model and actor Abid Bin Parvez Pranto in a drama titled ‘Joyeetar Dinratri’, directed by talented director Tuhin Hossain.
If Tania Brishty wants, she can change the plot of this drama a little and she could have acted with Mosharraf Karim or Niloy Alamgir or any other star actor. But Tania Brishty listened to the director, understood the plot of the story, and acted with Pranto in this drama to inspire and also give courage to a young artiste.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the drama (3 consecutive days) at various locations in Uttara, the capital, was completed last Sunday. While talking about acting in the drama, Tania Brishty told this correspondent, “I was in Australia for a while. After returning from there, I did a few works. Among them, I finished working in the drama ‘Joyeetar Dinratri’. It can be said that the story of this drama centres around the character ‘Joyeeta’. I have acted under Tuhin Bhai’s direction before.
Every drama has been very popular with the audience. Tuhin Bhai works with great care. He has one thing in mind – he wants to act perfectly according to the character. And the reason I worked with Pranto is that I was also a new artiste at one time. At that time, several established artistes acted with me. They might not have acted with me. But I’m inspired because they gave me a chance. In the same way, I should give someone new a chance. Otherwise, how will new people come in? How will the new generation of artistes make their place? Pranto did well, he will do even better.”
Director Tuhin Hossain said, “I was impressed by Tania Brishty’s greatness. This is the professional behaviour of a caste artiste. She also acted brilliantly in the drama ‘Joyeetar Dinratri’. Pranto also acted well in the drama. The drama will be aired on NTV this upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.”
