The Biennial General Meeting of Tangail District Journalist Forum was held under the chairmanship of Khan Mohammad Salek at Maulana Akram Khan Hall of National Press Club in the capital on Monday.
A new committee of Tangail District Journalist Forum, Dhaka was formed by making Sakhawat Hossain Badsha as President and Khandkar Achab Mahmud as General Secretary for the period of 2024-26 by unanimous consent in the general meeting.
This new committee was announced by the founding president of the organization, Rafiqul Islam Ratan.
Other elected committee members are Jahangir Feroze as Senior Vice President, Vice President Sheikh Enamul Haque, Joint General Secretary Anisur Rahman Khan and Shahnaz Parveen Ellis, Treasurer DM Amar, Organizing Secretary Taufiq Apu, Publicity Secretary Waleed Khan.
Office Secretary Hafizur Rahman, Women Affairs Secretary Nazneen Lucky. Also, 11 journalists were elected as executive members.
