Former national team captain Tamim Iqbal is set to return to competitive cricket in the upcoming season of the National Cricket League (NCL) T20.
Tournament committee chairman Akram Khan confirmed that Tamim, who has been out of action for a considerable period, has expressed his intent to participate in the tournament.
Alongside Tamim, senior cricketers Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad are also expected to feature in this season’s NCL T20.
According to Akram, Mushfiq has already reached out to Sylhet Division, indicating his interest in representing them.
