Dashing opener of Bangladesh National Cricket team Tamim Iqbal and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud visited on Monday the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the capital’s Mirpur.
Tamim Iqbal was formally introduced with Asif Mahmud. After introduction with Tamim Iqbal, Asif Mahmud and Tamim Iqbal visited the President Box of the SBNCS. Then, they visited the outfield of ‘Home of Cricket’. In that time, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the BCB Nizam Uddin Chowdhury was also with them.
After that they also went to the dressing room and also visited the indoor and the media conference room of the SBNCS.
Later, they entered the BCB-NCA Ground, which is adjacent to the SBNCS.
When the Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports Asif Mahmud entered the SBNCS, the other staff of the BCB became very much busy.
As the president of the BCB Nazmul Hassan Papon fled from the country, the cricket arena of the country became stuck. As the Sports Adviser entered the ‘Home of Cricket’ yesterday, the situation of the sports arena got a momentum. Asif Mahmud has been trying for the velocity of the cricket arena.
It may be mentioned that Tamim Iqbal was totally fit. But he was out of cricket for personal reasons. Earlier, Chief Selector of the BCB Gazi Asharaf Hossain Lipu said he was prepared to discuss with Tamim Iqbal and will try for everything for Tamim Iqbal to return to Bangladesh National Cricket team.
