Talamije Islamia’s Mubarak Rally held in Sylhet on the Occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM)

A ‘Mubarak Rally’ was held on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM) in the spiritual capital of the holy land of Sylhet on Saturday (06 September 2025) with the spontaneous participation of thousands of people. Students from all walks of life gathered from remote areas of Sylhet division in the premises of Hazrat Shahjalal Daruchunnah Yaqubiya Kamil Madrasa in Sobhanighat since morning to participate in this rally organized by the Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM) Rally Implementation Committee of Bangladesh Anjuman-e-Talamije Islamia. From 10 am to before Zuhr, leaders of Anjuman-e-Al-Islah and Talamije Islamia and guests from various levels discussed various aspects of the life of the Holy Prophet (SM). After Zuhr, the rally started and circled the main roads of the city. Colorful festoons and placards with verses of timeless poems written in the honor of the Holy Prophet adorned the rally. The voices of the students and the people who loved the Prophet (PBUH) sang songs of praise of the Holy Prophet. The melodious tunes of countless Naats like Salam Salam Nabi Salam Salam, Maula Ya Salli Wa Sallim, Balagal Ula Bi-Kamaleehi, Shamsuddoha Assalam filled the air of the city.

In the pre-rally discussion meeting, the speakers said that Hazrat Muhammad (SM) is a mercy for the entire world. With his arrival, the world found a path from darkness to light. He is the leader of this world and the hereafter. He established peace in society not only after the revelation of prophethood but also from his childhood. There is no humiliated, deprived, oppressed person in the world who did not have a place with him. He was a refuge for the oppressed. He was the most saddened in the field of Taif. But he never cursed the people of Taif. The speakers also said that discussing the birth of the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) is a good deed. Not only that, it is Sunnah of Allah and Sunnah of the Companions. The Companions of the Holy Prophet established the birth of the Prophet by walking. The love of the Ummah of Muhammad reaches the court of the Beloved of Allah (peace be upon him). Not only does it reach, but his identity is also highlighted. The world is in turmoil. The solution to this is in Uswa-e-Mustafa. We need to follow the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH) in our homes and outside, in our thoughts and consciousness. There is no way to reach Allah without following him. His example must be established in our personal and social lives. The discussion of the birth of Allah’s beloved, his Seerat must be spread in the society. Obedience to him is our faith. All the anti-social tendencies that are prevalent in the society, the evil plan of making people follow the devil; to survive from these, there is no alternative to following the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH). The more we move towards his example, the more beautiful our families and society will be.

Hazrat Allama Kamruddin Chowdhury Fultali, retired principal of Shahjalal Daruchhunnah Yaqubiya Kamil Madrasa, delivered the speech as the chief guest. The keynote speaker was Manjurul Karim Mohsin, central president of Talamije Islamia.

The pre-rally discussion meeting was presided over by the convener of the rally implementation committee, Sulaiman Ahmed Chowdhury, and conducted by the member secretary, Hussain Ahmed.
