Violent Attack on Siddique’s Residence

A group of unidentified assailants attacked and vandalized the residence of Bongo Bir Kader Siddique, President of the Krishak Sramik Janata League, in Tangail late Saturday night.

According to eyewitnesses and household sources, around 10 to 15 masked individuals launched the sudden attack at approximately 12:00 AM. The attackers hurled bricks and stones at the windows of the house, shattering glass panes. Two personal vehicles parked in the garage were also damaged during the incident.

Kader Siddique’s personal driver, Liton Mia, reported that about 15 to 17 individuals participated in the assault. Among them, two to three intruders, aged approximately 15 to 20, managed to enter the house premises briefly.

Kader Siddique was present inside the residence at the time of the attack.

In response to the incident, he has called for a press conference at 12:00 PM today (Sunday) to address the media and public.

As of now, no arrests have been made. Police have visited the scene and an investigation is underway.
