SC annual report submitted to President
UNB, Dhaka :
A delegation of Bangladesh Supreme Court judges, led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, on Tuesday submitted the Annual Report-2013 of the Bangladesh Supreme Court to President Abdul Hamid.
During the meeting at Bangabhaban, the delegation apprised the President of different aspects of the report, President’s deputy press secretary Abul Kalam Azad told UNB.
Chief Justice Sinha said the overall activities of the Supreme Court, including case disposal, have got a momentum with the reconstitution and increasing of benches.
The delegation also discussed the matters relating
to the judiciary, including accommodation and training facilities of the judges.
The President assured them of his all-out cooperation in this regard. Abdul Hamid thanked the Chief Justice and the other delegation members for submitting the report.
