BSF kills Bangladeshi youth in Tentulia

A Bangladeshi young man was shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sujon Ali, 27, son of one late Anurul Islam of Dangapara. He succumbed to injuries at a clinic in Rangpur.
According to locals, Sujon along with his associates tried to enter India illegally from a place near the border pillar no- 440/4. At that time, BSF members of Madanbari BOP fired at them.
At the time Sujon received serious injuries. Later he was admitted to a local clinic in Rangpur, where he died while receiving treatment.
When the deceased’s body was brought home from Rangpur at night, the police took it to the police station for autopsy.
Debnagar Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Soleman Ali confirmed the matter to the media on Wednesday.
Chairman believes that some others were shot in this incident. Besides, some people are also detained in India.
In this regard, BGB 56 battalion repeatedly contacted the BSF to talk about this, but they did not receive the phone.
But it was known that company commander of Sharialjoth BGB camp sent a proposal to BSF for holding a flag meeting.
