The Sylhet Zilla Parishad budget for the financial year 2024-2025 has been approved. In this regard, a meeting was held at in the conference room of Zilla Parishad on Sunday. A budget of Tk 100 million was approved in the meeting for the development of villages and urban areas under Zilla Parishad Sylhet.
Zilla Parishad Chairman Advocate Md. Nasir Uddin Khan presided over the meeting. In the speech of the president, he said, as the representative of the people, we have a responsibility for the people. That is why we must always be dedicated to meet people’s expectations. Keeping this perspective in mind, the budget of Zilla Parishad Sylhet has been formulated. We have to remember “Sheikh Hasina’s principle, rural-urban development”.
Zila Parishad Sylhet Chief Executive Officer Sandeep Kumar Singh, Sylhet Zilla Parishad Panel Chairman-1 Md. Matiur Rahman, Panel Chairman-3 Amatuz Jahura Roshan Zebeen, Kanighat Upazila Chairman Mostak Ahmad Palash, Sylhet among others spoke and were present in the meeting.
