BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee Honorary Members Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain and other top BNP leaders are coming to Sylhet on July 7.
Sylhet BNP leaders and activists have become excited about the visit of BNP central leaders to Sylhet.
BNP central leaders will participate in prayers, milad and discussion meetings in South Surma Upazila, wishing for the health and longevity of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the good health and longevity of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
In order to make this visit a success, preparatory meetings are also underway in various areas under the leadership of UK BNP President MA Malik. In order to make the visit of the acting secretary general of the party a success, he held a meeting at his residence in Tetoli, South Surma on Thursday (June 19) afternoon. Present at the meeting were Sylhet District BNP Vice President and South Surma Upazila BNP President Haji Sahab Uddin, Sylhet District BNP Organizing Secretary Shamim Ahmed, Balaganj Upazila BNP President Emran Rabbani, Jubo Dal leaders Shafran Ahmed, Liton Ahmed and leaders of BNP, its organs and allied organizations. During the meeting, Alhaj M. A. Malik said, “I, along with all the leaders and activists of BNP in the area, are happy with the arrival of national leaders together in South Surma area, namely Sylhet.”
The visit of the acting secretary general of the party has created a lively atmosphere among the leaders and activists of the district. Local people believe that the discussion meeting can take the form of a public meeting through extensive initiatives and the spontaneous participation of grassroots leaders and activists.
