Noted Bangladeshi actor Afzal Hossain will be
pairing up with Kolkata’s actress Swastika Mukherjee in his upcoming thriller-based movie titled ‘One Eleven’. Directed by Kamrul Islam Refat, the movie
centres around a mysterious murder and how numerous characters will take turns
to put together the missing pieces of the gruesome crime.
The director revealed that both actors will play pivotal roles with scenes filmed across various locations
in Dhaka.
This will be Swastika’s second Bangladeshi movie following her appearance in ‘Sobar Upore Tumi’ in 2008 opposite Shakib Khan.
Afzal Hossain will portray the role of a writer in this psychological thriller. Swastika Mukherjee,
who has also worked in Bollywood, expressed her excitement about collaborating with Afzal Hossain,
a Bangladeshi actor
she admires.
Swastika hopes that their teamwork will result in an exceptional project for Bangladeshi audiences,
further expanding her repertoire as an actress.
There will be numerous characters involved – heroes, villains, police, detectives, and writers-all of whom will try to answer some unfinished questions regarding the unsolved crime.
Based on the story of Humayun Kabir Biswas, the dialogue of the movie has been written by Mozaffar Hossain, while the screenplay has been revised and edited by Nurul Alam Atique and Matia Banu Shuku.
