‘Super League’ of DPL Cricket restarts today

After two-day recess, the ‘Super League’ of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket will restart today at the different venues across Dhaka District.

Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited will take on Gazi Group Cricketers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur, while Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Legends of Rupganj at the BKSP Ground-4 in Savar and Gulshan Cricket Club will play against Agrani Bank Cricket Club at the BKSP Ground-3 in Savar. All the matches will start at 9:00am.

Dhaka Abahani Limited led the points table gaining 24 points from 14 matches, while Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited took the second position bagging 22 points from as many matches.

Gazi Group Cricketers took the third spot collecting 18 points from 14 outings.
Legends of Rupganj took the fourth position grabbing 17 points from 14 matches, while Gulshan Cricket Club took the fifth spot securing 17 points from as many outings.

Though Legends of Rupganj and Gulshan Cricket Club gained same points but by virtue of better run rate, Legends of Rupganj took the fourth position.

Agrani Bank Cricket Club remained in the bottom position with 14 points from 14 matches.
