The ‘Super League’ of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket will begin today at the different venues across Dhaka District.
Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Legends of Rupganj at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur, while Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Agrani Bank Cricket Club at the BKSP Ground-3 in Savar and Gazi Group Cricketers will meet Gulshan Cricket Club at the BKSP Ground-4 in Savar. All the matches will start at 9:00am.
Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Dhaka Abahani Limited gained 18 points each from their respective 11 matches. But by virtue of better run rate, Dhaka Abahani Limited took the top spot in the points table, while Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited stood the second position.
Gazi Group Cricketers took the third position bagging 16 points from 11 outings.
Gulshan Cricket Club took the fourth position collecting 15 points from 11 matches.
Agrani Bank Cricket Club stood the fifth position bagging 14 points from 11 outings, while Legends of Rupganj took the sixth position earning 13 points from as many matches.
