The 52nd Summer School-Madrasa Sports Competition a festive atmosphere inChitalmariUpazila underBagerhat district.
On Sunday, the official inauguration of the inaugural ceremony was announced by UNO (UpazilaNibahi Officer), Upazila Parishad Administrator and President of Upazila School-Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association Md. Sajjad Hossain at the Chitalmari A.K. Faizul Haque Government Primary School ground.
The special guests present at the inaugural ceremony were Upazila Secondary Education Officer and Sports Association General Secretary Md. Hafizur Rahman, Upazila Education Office Academic Supervisor Pradeep Kumar Bhowmik, Upazila BNP President Md. Mominul Haque Tulu Biswas, General Secretary Md. Shariful Hasan Apu.
Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Maulana Gazi Moniruzzaman, Secretary Md. Zahidul Islam Nanna, Upazila Teachers Association President Md. Abdus Salam, General Secretary Md. Golam Faruk Bulu and Upazila Sanitary Inspector Riazul Islam.
In addition, headmasters and sports teachers of all secondary schools and madrasas in the upazila attended the ceremony.
Students from 32 secondary schools and 7 madrasas in the Upazila will participate in various events including football, handball, kabaddi, chess and swimming in this three-day competition.
