A prize distribution ceremony was held among the sugarcane farmers with the aim of ‘increasing sugarcane cultivation and more yield’ organized by the Faridpur Sugarcane Welfare Association in Madhukhali on Saturday.
Md. Saifullah, the managing director of the sugar mill was present as chief guest in the prize distribution ceremony. Managing director Md. Saifullah said that a comprehensive program has been taken from the agriculture department and the administration department to increase the yield of the sugarcane that has been planted in the field this year.
All those programs are already being implemented. I hope the result will be positive with the overall cooperation of sugarcane farmers.
Sirajul Islam, prominent farmer Ashok Poddar, Md. Jamarat Hossain and other sugarcane farmers representatives of various units of Mills Gate ‘A’ and ‘B’ subzones, farmers and labor leaders were present on the occasion.
