Submarine cable glitch slows internet in Bangladesh

Internet users in Bangladesh are experiencing slow speed or outages due to a technical glitch in the second submarine cable.
Efforts are underway to carry out the necessary repairs, Moshiur Rahman, managing director of Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Ltd, told bdnews24.com on Sunday.
“There are problems with the power supply to the second submarine cable in Patuakhali. Repair works are ongoing and hopefully it’ll be fixed by the day’s end.”
