The Directorate of National Consumers Rights Protect (DNCRP) conducted a drives, supported by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) a large low -quality vermicelli factory and sealed an adulterated mango juice, chatni, chocolate and pickle factory named Al- Modina Food in Pakundia of Kishoreganj on Thursday evening.
The operation led by DNCRP Assistant Director (AD ) Rehdoy Ronjon Bonik and RAB-14, Kishoreganj Squadron leader Md. Ashraful at Al-Modina Food, a vermicelli-making factory.
During the drive, it is found that they were making vermicelli in dust and workers are not using hand gloves, he said.
DNCRP AD Rehdoy Ronjon Bonik said that, the factory was making lacha vermicelli, milk vermicelli and some different kinds of vermicelli, the owner including workers admitted that they also produced vermicelli for Acme, Deco, Shahi madina and Bombey brand.
