Students protest in Kishoreganj Judge Court premises

More than one hundred students attended the March for Justice programme held at Kishoreganj Judge Court premises on Wednesday noon to protest the massacre, mass arrests, assault cases, disappearances and murders of the students across the country and to demand investigation and trial by the United Nations and to achieve the 9 points of the student society.
They held this programme under the banner of anti-discrimination student movement in the Judge Court premises.
At around 12 pm the protest march left the Alormela (0ld Court road) area in the town and reached the court premises around 1:00 pm.
Later, the agitators took a stand there and staged a protest.
Meanwhile, a group of lawyers took a stand by declaring solidarity with them.
They Anti- discrimination students movement coordinator Iftekar Hossion, Avi Chowdhury, Enamul Haque and Afsana.
A large member of Police , RAB and agencies also took position in the Court premises under the leadership of SP in Kishoreganj, Md.Rashel Sheikh PPM (Bar),BPM, SP(DSB) Noor -e Alam.SP Rashel Sheikh PPM( bar), BPM said that, We are on high alertand so far, there was no clash or conflict.
District Magistrate, also Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md.Abul kalam Azad of Kishoreganj told The New Nation that, law enforcement members including Army were deployed to protect people ‘s lives and property.
