Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has highlighted the pressing issue of inflation as controlling prices poses a significant challenge.
“Managing prices is a significant issue, and we are exploring effective strategies to bring it under control. There are now more opportunities than ever to address this challenge, and we must leverage these to remain competitive in our approach to inflation management,” he said this while during a video conference at the Chief Adviser’s Office with officials from 31 districts in four divisions on Monday.
“Since many districts are connected and discussing together today, we can create a friendly competition among ourselves to see who can best maintain stable prices. We will acknowledge those districts that perform exceptionally well, ensuring their efforts are recognised and celebrated. It is important that we highlight and document their successes,” he adeed.
Dr Yunus stressed the need for maintaining law and order, fostering communal harmony, ensuring the preservation of agricultural products, facilitating fertiliser supply and maintaining peace in industrial zones.
Officials from Dhaka, Chattogram, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions participated in the conference.
