The Executive Committee (EC) of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) has crafted a strategic roadmap designed to effectively guide and coordinate skills development initiatives at the national level.
The EC discussed the key focus areas include financing of training programmes, enhancing certification standards, securing international recognition, and expanding opportunities for overseas employment.
The 14th meeting of the NSDA Executive Committee was held today at the Chief Adviser’s Office with Principal Secretary to the Chief Adviser (CA) and NSDA EC President M Siraz Uddin Miah in the chair, according to the CA’s Press Wing.
At the meeting, Dr Nazneen Kawshar Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of NSDA and Member Secretary of the Executive Committee, presented the authority’s ongoing initiatives, implementation progress, and future action plans.
Members of the Executive Committee also offered constructive suggestions on eliminating duplication in skills training, selecting representatives for the Industrial Skills Council (ISC), and engaging Qawmi Madrasah students in skills development activities.
The meeting was attended by secretaries of various ministries, heads of directorates, and agency chiefs.
