Staff Reporter :

Recently, applications regarding post-migration admission of some students from 2/1 cluster universities for the academic year 2024-2025 have been received.

In that context, the matter was discussed in the 20th meeting of the Admission Committee consisting of the Vice-Chancellors of the cluster universities. Based on the discussion, it was decided to issue a statement regarding the post-admission activities.

As per the decision, the convener of the committee, Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Bhashani University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim Akhand, issued the following statement:
The admission application and admission guidelines for the Integrated Admission Test (2024-2025) of the cluster universities clearly mention that, ‘Students will be called for admission from the waiting list a maximum of four times, subject to the availability of seats.’

Accordingly, a total of five stages, including four migrations, including admission, have been completed.

Classes began in the universities on August 11, 2025, as per the pre-determined schedule. As of today, about five hundred seats are vacant in the 19 universities of the cluster, reports press release.

As per the decision of the Integrated Admission Committee of the cluster universities, it would not be appropriate to provide inter-university migration to the admitted students as the five stages of admission have already been completed and classes have started. In such a situation, the vacant seats will be filled from the waiting list in the universities according to the merit order.

In that case, inter-subject migration will continue in their respective universities. Students seeking admission to the vacant seats will complete the admission process as per the announced schedule. Everyone’s cooperation is needed in this regard.
