NN Online:
This year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exam results are expected to be published between July 10 and 12, pending final approval from the Ministry of Education.
Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider, controller of examinations at the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed on Monday that a proposal suggesting three possible dates — July 10, 11, and 12 — has been sent to the ministry. The official date will be announced once the ministry consults with the Chief Advisor’s Office and gives its nod.
As per standard practice, SSC results are typically released within 60 days of the exams concluding. Based on that timeline, results must be published by July 25.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee usually submits a proposed three-day window for result publication, allowing the ministry to set a date after necessary consultations.
This year’s SSC and equivalent exams began on April 10. Written tests concluded on May 13, followed by practical exams from May 15 to 22.
A total of 1.93 million students registered for the exams across the nine general education boards, as well as the Madrasa and Technical Education Boards.
