Ajay Mitra is a talented lyricist, composer and music director. Starting from Sabina Yasmin, Fahmida Nabi, and many musicians of this generation have sung in his lyrics and tunes.
In the meantime, Sraboni Shayantony, a female singer hailed from Rangpur of Bangladesh, and who studied Hindustani classical music at Biswa Bharti University, has lent her voice in a song which lyrics and music were composed by Ajay Mitra.
The song has already been released on Ajay Mitra’s Facebook page.
Title of the song is ‘Tomay Dekhe Lage Valo-Kare Aamar Mon, Chokhe Tomar Chokh Porile- Juray Du’ Noyon’, Tumi Jodi Paro Bhalobeso, Dure Theke Amar Kachhe Esho’.
Singer Sraboni Shayantony is very excited to sing such a love song.
While sharing her feelings in this regard, Sraboni Shayantony told this correspondent, “It can be said that among all the romantic songs I have sung so far, this song written and composed by respected Ajay Mitra Sir is one of them. I like the lyrics and melody of the song so much that while singing the song, I entered the song very deeply. It seemed like this song was created for me. I am very grateful to Ajay Mitra sir for giving me such a beautiful song. I tried to sing this song by preparing myself properly. That is the Hindustani classical Music that I have studied at Visva Bharati University. I want to bless everyone.”
Meanwhile, a few days ago, a song about Sraboni and Akash was aired in the ‘Panch Foron’ broadcast by ATV Bangla.
Although the song was already released on YouTube, but for this purpose the new music video of the song has been made. Title of the song was ‘Tokei Shudhu Chai’.
