June 28 marks the 84th birthday of veteran singer Ferdousi Rahman. On this occasion, Channel i has organised special event around her.
Ferdousi Rahman will be present at the special ‘Taroka Kothon’ programme at 12:10pm.
She will be showered with floral greetings by Channel i’s Head of News and Director, Shykh Seraj. Ferdousi Rahman will talk about many unsaid and untold stories from her life on the ‘Taroka Kothon’ programme.
The musical programme ‘Esho Gaan Shikhi’ was started by her right from the inception of BTV. This BTV’s this programme became very popular. Two of the favourite puppet faces from ‘Esho Gaan Shikhi’ – Mithu and Monty – will be present at ‘Taroka Kothon’ to wish the legendary artiste on her birthday. A group of new generation children will be with them.
Meanwhile, Menoka Hasan, producer of ‘Esho Gaan Shikhi’, and other popular singer of this generation Kona will also congratulate Ferdousi Rahman. The special ‘Taroka Kothon’ will be hosted by Sanjida and produced by Anonna Ruma.
