Southern University Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chattagram's first five-star hotel Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View to support students in their career development. Southern University Registrar AFM Modacher Ali and Head of the Business Administration Department Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam officially signed the agreement at the holte’s conference room on Thursday (August 14), while CEO Brigadier General Mohammad Ali
(Retd.) and Assistant Director (HR) Major (Retd.) Lokman Hakim signed the agreement on behalf of Radisson Blue. Southern University teachers and Radisson officials were present at the time.
The Department of Hotel and Tourism Management under the Faculty of Business Administration of Southern University and Radisson Blue jointly organized the agreement signing ceremony. As a result of the signing of the MoU, Southern University University’s Hotel and Tourism Management students will have the opportunity to participate in a 6-month
internship at Radisson Blu Chattagram Bay View, providing hands-on learning and study tours.
Southern University Bangladesh and Radisson Blu Chattagram Bay View will work together to conduct research and development of potential tourism industries, including training, workshops, and more.
