South Point School & College, Malibagh, secured both the Champion and Runner-Up positions in the National School Team Chess Championship 2025, marking a historic milestone in the country’s chess landscape. Organized by the Information and Communication Technology Division of the Government of Bangladesh, with support from the Bangladesh Computer Council and in association with the Bangladesh Chess Federation, the national-level event brought together top school teams from across the country. The South Point ‘A’ team emerged undefeated champions, scoring the maximum 12 points from 6 rounds in a Swiss League format. Meanwhile, the South Point ‘B’ team secured the runner-up position with 10 points.
