The annual sports competition 2025 of South Point School & College was held recently, at the institution’s Baridhara campus playground amid a colorful and festive atmosphere. These remarks were made by the Chief Guest, Mrs. MonimunNahar, Member of the Governing Body of South Point School & College. From early morning, teachers and students gathered at the venue dressed in vibrant and diverse costumes for their respective performances. Smartly attired adolescent students formed disciplined parade teams, while athletes from various groups prepared themselves for the competitions.
The event was presided over by the Principal of South Point School & College, Air Commodore (Retd.) Kazi Abdul Moin.After the Parade Commander sought permission from the Chair, a disciplined parade began in rhythm with the band music. This was followed by a series of attractive displays, including Taekwondo and other performances by the students.
In the speech segment, the Chief Guest, Mrs. MonimunNahar, delivered her valuable address, extending her best wishes to the participants. Special Guests Mrs. EnamunNahar and Mrs. Atina Rashid, Members of the Engineer M. A. Rashid Foundation, also addressed the audience.
The day-long event featured various sports competitions, including class- and age-based races and fun activities such as “Dress as You Like.” Special sports events were also arranged for guardians and guests. Among others present at the event were Colonel Md. ShamsulAlam, PSC (Retd.), Principal of the Malibagh Campus; Colonel E. M. MorshedAlam, MPhil, PhD, Principal of the Banani Branch; Group Captain Colonel Md. Jahangir AlamTalukder, PSC (Retd.), Principal of the Uttara Campus; Lt. Colonel Md. Jahangir Alam (Retd.), Principal of the Mirpur Campus; Air Commodore (Retd.) A. N. M. Abdul Hannan (late), Principal of the Shyampur Campus; Chief Financial Officer Md. SakhawatUllah; along with other teachers, officers, and staff members of the institution.
