Sonali Bank participates in National SME Fair

Sonali Bank PLC, the largest state-owned bank in Bangladesh, actively participated in the eight-day-long 12th National SME Product Fair 2025, held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center. The fair was inaugurated on Sunday by Adilur Rahman Khan, Adviser to the Ministry of Industries, as the chief guest, according to a press release. Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Sonali Bank PLC, along with General Manager Kazi Md. Mofizul Islam and other senior officials, attended the inauguration ceremony. Following the formal opening, Md. Shawkat Ali Khan inaugurated Sonali Bank’s stall by cutting the ribbon and toured the bank’s pavilion.

At the fair, Sonali Bank highlighted its ongoing commitment to supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The bank plans to identify promising entrepreneurs and provide comprehensive SME-related information to customers and visitors, aiming to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen the SME sector across the country.
