Sonali Bank holds 253rd ALCO meeting

Sonali Bank PLC held its 253rd Asset-Liabilities Committee (ALCO) meeting on Wednesday, 29 October, at the bank’s head office conference room. The meeting was presided over by Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, MD & CEO of Sonali Bank and ALCO Chairman.

Senior officials, including Deputy Managing Directors, General Managers, and other ALCO members, attended the meeting, which focused on reviewing the bank’s asset-liability management, liquidity position, and financial risk strategies,according to press release.

ALCO meetings are a key part of the bank’s risk management framework, helping to ensure that Sonali Bank maintains a balanced approach between its assets and liabilities while optimizing profitability and managing financial risks in a dynamic market environment.
