Gawsul Alam Chowdhury has been promoted as General Manager of Sonali Bank Limited and joined at the banks head office recently, said a press release. Prior to that, he served as Deputy General Manager of Research, Planning and Mordanization Division of the bank. He joined Sonali bank Limited as Senior Officer on probation in 1984. Gawsul completed his Honors and Masters Degree on Social Welfare Department from the University of Dhaka. He attended different seminars and workshops on banking at home and abroad. He was born in a respective Muslim family of Joypurhat District.
