Sonali Bank PLC has formalized a partnership with the Department of Fisheries to facilitate the collection of export-import related fees and charges through the Sonali Payment Gateway. The agreement was officially signed during a ceremony held on Saturday at the Department of Fisheries’ head office conference room.
Subhash Chandra Das, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank PLC, and Dr. Md. Abdur Rouf, Director General (In-Charge) of the Department of Fisheries, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
Also present at the event were Aklima Islam, General Manager of Sonali Bank, Deputy General Manager Md. Aminur Rahaman Khan, and Principal Scientific Officer of the Department of Fisheries, Masuda Khanam, along with Dr. Md. Khaled Kanak. Senior officials from both organizations attended the occasion, underscoring the significance of this collaboration in advancing digital financial integration within the public sector.
