A college student killer mother allegedly for money and concealed the body into the fridge of a house in Dupchanchia upzila of Bogra district on Sunday.
RAB said the killer son was identified as Saad Bin Azizur Rahman (19) and the mother Umme Salma (50). The RAB accordingly arrested Saad as he confessed to the murder during interrogation.
In a press conference on Tuesday, company commander of RAB-12 Bogra camp Major Ehteshamul Haque Khan said that preparations are underway to file a case against the arrested.
The arrested Saad is the son of Azizur Rahman of Joypurpara area of Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra. He is a second year student of Alim of Dupchanchia Darussunnah Kamil Madrasa.
Family members rescued Umme Salma with her hands and feet tied from the deep freezer of the flat named ‘Azizia Manzil’.
As the victim was taken to the local Upazila Health Complex the on-duty doctors declared her dead. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital in Bogra for autopsy.
