‘Skill Competition’ held at Rangpur Polytechnic Institute

Skill Competition-2025 was held among technical students at Rangpur Polytechnic Institute. On Wednesday, Khandaker Md. NahidHasan, Regional Director of the Directorate of Technical Education, Rangpur Region, was the chief guest at the institution-level program under the day-long Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation (ASET) project.
In the said competition, 48 students from Rangpur Polytechnic Institute and DharmameshwarMahesha Bi-Mukhi High School, Kaunia, Rangpur of Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Power, Electromedical and Computer Technology implemented and displayed 8 job projects. 1 winner was selected from each job determined by 3-member evaluators based on the determined job. The skill competition program was presided over by Rangpur Polytechnic Institute Principal (Additional Duty) Engineer. Md. Nurul Islam, Deputy Project Director, Azhajjhun Khandaker Khaled Riaz as special guest. Certificates were distributed among the winners and participants of the competition. Students, guardians, teachers and technology enthusiasts were present at the program.
