Musician and presenter Dithi Anwar has completed 30 years last year with music. Her journey in the world of music started with the inspiration of her father late Gazi Mazharul Anwar.
Since then, she cherishes music in her heart till today. She has
a great affinity with people in the world of Bangladeshi music.
Besides, she has a great ability with the people of cinema
and drama families.
Just as Dithi Anwar has perfected herself as a human being, just like that, as an artiste,
she is still constantly developing herself in various ways.
According to Dithi Anwar, there is no end to learning in
the world of music. A special event is organised every year in December in the garden
of Dithi’s residence in Gulshan of the capital. Where Dithi’s
invitation includes all her
family, various relatives, friends, many people from
the cultural arena are present.
As a sign of everyone’s sincere love for Dithi, everyone’s
presence on that day
is a sight to behold.
Recently a special function was organised in the garden of Dithi’s residence where Khurshid Alam, Bapparaj, Rumana Islam, Rizia Parveen, Shabnaz-Naim, Rabi Chowdhury, Agun, Shawkat Ali Emon, Polash, Dithi’s husband Arif Ahmed Chowdhury, Dithi’s mother Zohra Gazi, Dithi’s father-in-law former MP Shafi Ahmed Chowdhury, her mother-in-law Latifa Chowdhury and her elder brother Upal were present on the occasion.
Therefore, Kabir Bakul, Pial Hasan, Biplob Saha, Shafiq Tuhin, Mimi Alauddin, Samrat, Kona, Konal, Rashed, Yousuf, Apu Aman, Momin Biswas
and many others were also present at the event.
In the event, along with the story chat, there were music performances from time to time. Artistes also performed music with interest in such a beautiful environment. Dithi Anwar, Rizia Parveen, Mimi Alauddin, and nationally acclaimed artistes Kona and Konal took the stage together at the end of the show.
Apart from performing these two popular songs titled ‘Bondhu Tindin Tor Barit Gelam’ and ‘Eka Eka Keno Bhalolagena’ written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar and sung by Runa Laila, they also performed the song at the request
of Dithi’s mother-in-law.
This performance of all of them was enjoyed by the guests who were sitting all over the garden with great enthusiasm.
Dithi Anwar told this correspondent, “My sincere gratitude to everyone. Everyone took their busy time to participate in this event on my invitation and made it hundred percent successful.”
