Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam is uncertain for the first match of the ICC T20 World Cup (WC). Bangladesh Cricket team are scheduled to play against Sri Lanka Cricket team in their first Group-D match on June 8 at Dallas in Texas of the USA.
Bangladesh failed to show up to mark performance against stronger India in their warm-up match in New York on Saturday last. As Bangladesh batters failed to shine with the willow against India but it is a bad news for Bangladesh tent that pacer Shoriful Islam got injury when he was bowing his fifth delivery of his fourth over. Hardik Pandya’s shot was straightly hit the hand of Shoriful Islam. Later, the physician stitched six sews on Shoriful Islam’s hand. So, injured Shoriful Islam may fail to bowl against their first match of ICC T20 World Cup.
