The shooting of the next installment of Hollywood’s popular superhero franchise Spider-Man, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ has been successfully completed.
The film’s director, Destin Daniel Cretton, announced this on social media last Friday. The big-budget film is set to be released next year.
In a post on Instagram, director Cretton expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew of the film.
Highly praising lead actor Tom Holland’s dedication and leadership, the director wrote, “Thank you for your generous leadership and dedication to your work on and off screen. I can’t wait for the audience to see this great work on the big screen.”
Cretton also said that this movie is going to be the biggest and most fruitful work of his career.
The new installment will feature a big surprise for the audience: Mark Ruffalo, known for his role as the popular character ‘Hulk’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The film is written by Chris McKenna and Eric Somers. If all goes well, the Sony and Marvel film will be released in theaters worldwide on July 31 next year.
