A foreign commercial ship named “MV. Sofiya” carrying the national flag of Liberia and loading 1 (one) thousand 6 hundred 81 tons machinery goods for Ruppur Atomic Power Plant (RNPP) arrived at Mongla Sea Port (in Bagerhat district) at Saturday night and anchored with the Jetty No.05.
Kazi Tanvir Mahbub, Senior Executive, M/S. Inter-port Shipping Agency and the local shipping agent of the ship told, the unloading work of the imported machineries was already started since the night.
He added, the unloading work of the machinery goods will be completed within 3 to 4 days and then all the machinery goods will be sent to Ruppur Atomic Power Plant yard at Ishwardi in Pabna district on road.
