Model and actress Fariha Shams Sheuti played the role of ‘Saleha’ in this movie.
And the movie is being screened in several cinema halls outside Dhaka including Dhaka’s Cineplex.
In the background of the liberation war, the story of two marginal families has come up in this movie.
According to many viewers, ‘Nakshi Kathar Zamin’ made in the background of the liberation war is a wonderful movie. In its premiere show, everyone praised it.
Sheuti was accompanied by her father and mother to the premiere show.
Sheuti’s father watched the movie and got a deep understanding of the liberation war period.
Her mother is very happy to watch Sheuti’s performance in the movie. She was so emotional with her daughter’s performance and the entire movie that Sheuti’s mother posted a long status on her Facebook about ‘Nakshi Kathar Zamin’. Responding to a question about how the response is getting, Sheuti told this correspondent, “To tell the truth, those who came to the lovers praised the movie – especially the story of the movie, the acting of everyone in the movie, the cinematography of the movie, and above all Akram Bhai’s direction. I have also heard from many people that they are very happy for my role. This is a great achievement as an actress to see people close to me and really appreciate my performance. But the most interesting thing for me was that my parents watched the movie and they liked it very much. Their liking seems like a matter of honour to me. Even after that, many viewers are watching the movie in the hall; I am getting response from them in various ways.”
Meanwhile, Sheuti has completed two more movies. One is Raihan Rafi’s ‘Omingmashito’ and the other is S A Kayum’s ‘Antorborti’.
Sheuti’s father Shamsul Hossein retired as GM of Agrani Bank, mother Hosne Ara retired as joint secretary of the Ministry of Education.
