The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) member renewal and new member induction program has been inaugurated in Sherpur, Bogura. Yesterday, Sunday (June 29) at 10 am at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium cum Community Center, the program was inaugurated as the chief guest by Bogra District BNP President Rezaul Karim Badsha.
Sherpur Upazila BNP President Shahidul Islam Bablu presided over the program, and Bogura District BNP Acting General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain spoke as the main speaker. Moderated by Sherpur Upazila BNP General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Mintu, BNP Central Committee Member KM Mahbubur Rahman Harez, Bogura District BNP Advisor Shafiqul Alam Tota, Vice President and Sadar Police Station BNP President Maftum Ahmed Khan Rubel, Deputy General Secretary Touhidul Alam Mamun, KM Khairul Bashar, Organizing Secretary Zahidur Rahman Helal, Treasurer Shahadat Hossain, Bogura District Jubo Dal General Secretary Abu Hasan, and Bogra District Krishak Dal Member Secretary Enamul Haque Sumon spoke at the event. Also present were BNP leaders Peer Hossain, Mahbubul Alam Hiru, Mostafizur Rahman Nilu, Mamunur Rashid Apel, Abdul Momin and Mamunur Rashid Apel, Moazzem Hossain, Jubo Dal leaders Ashrafuddaula Mamun, Zakaria Masud, Volunteer Party leaders Shah Mohammad Kawsar Collings, Hafizul Asif Shawon and leaders and activists of various organs and associate organisations.
The speakers said that members will be selected after scrutinizing at the grassroots level to prevent the infiltration of terrorists. Not a single concession will be made in this regard. The future leadership will be developed through the evaluation of the party’s truly dedicated and tested leaders and activists. A message was also given to the activists that no one should ignore ideals and sacrifices in the hope of temporary gains.
