Popular actress of this generation Sharna Lata Debnath is
regularly acting in dramas serials and short dramas. In the meantime, her acted new dramas series have started airing on various TV channels.
But last week, Sharna Lata started working in a new drama series titled ‘USB’ (United States of Barishal).
It is basically a story drama of old Dhaka. The story of the drama is written by Maidul Rakib.
Maidul Rakib is a talented director of this generation. He is producing this series. Sharna Lata is acting in role of ‘Jhorna’ in this serial. Pavel Islam is acting opposite Sharna Lata in it.
Before this, Sharna Lata acted in the story drama of old Dhaka. So, she said that she is working with ease in this serial.
Meanwhile, after shooting for a few days in this new series named ‘USB’, Sharna Lata reached Indonesia’s Bali at 9:00am yesterday.
This actress said that she will return to the country on November 21.
Sharna Lata told this correspondent, “I have worked in dramas under the direction of Maidul Rakib. It can be said that I have acted in all the dramas under his direction; I have received good response for acting in all of them. That’s why I work with great interest in his dramas. Since the unit is very similar to us, I feel very comfortable working in this unit.”
“Moreover, I like Maidul Rakib’s story-telling style very much. He works with considerable attention. My character’s name in this serial is Jhorna. I have tried to develop my character hundred percent. The rest will actually be broadcast on RTV and I will understand how I managed to act. But I am very optimistic about this new series, as I was optimistic about the previous works. And I came to Bali to roam around as per my own mind,” Sharna Lata also said.
Director Maidul Rakib said, “Sharna Lata is a very good actress. What I have observed is that she acts completely natural. As a director, I feel comfortable working with her. And as a person, she is very good, humble and gentle; I have a family relationship with her. She played the role of ‘Jhorna’ perfectly. As a director, I am very optimistic about this serial written and directed by me.”
Earlier, Sharna Lata acted in ‘Girls’ Squad’- Season 1, 2 and 3 directed by Maidul Rakib. Sharna Lata basically came into discussion as an actress by acting in these series.
She also acted in dramas ‘Team West Indies’, ‘Committee Chai’ and ‘Gorur Mangsho 3’ of the same director.
