She is a journalist and singer. Sharmin Rahman Rauma is the name of this very servile media personality.
It is not just that Rauma keeps herself busy as a journalist and an artiste. In addition to this, she is also associated with the social organisation, ‘Power of She’.
From being associated with this movement, in the meantime, Sharmin Rauma was associated with the organisation by participating in the campaign to raise
awareness of women’s breast cancer and helping flood victims.

Sharmin Rauma has been working as a journalist in BBC for the past 10 years. Currently she is working as its senior journalist.
Sharmin Ruma has already worked as the chief judge in the grand finale of ‘Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024’ held last Friday night at La Meridien in
the capital. There were a few other judges with her in the event.
In the grand finale, who won the title of ‘Miss Bangladesh Beauty Pageant 2024’ and also won the title of Bangladesh Earth, to participate in the Miss Earth pageant in Philippines on November 9. Sharmin Rahman Rauma expressed great love to work as a chief judge of ‘Miss Earth Bangladesh Pageant 2024.’
She shared her feelings in this regard by this way, “At the beginning, I sincerely thank the organisers, who gave me the opportunity to work as the chief judge in this event. It is true that beauty pageant does not mean that she has to
be very beautiful. Rather, besides being beautiful, we also consider how smart her thinking is. For example, we try to know how much knowledge does she have about the country, the whole world, domestic politics, culture, environment and world politics, and we also try to know how much knowledge she has on various other subjects. The main thing is her talent, her intelligence – everything we try to verify. In this competition also we have got several beautiful talented girls those who can truly present Bangladesh to the world with their beauty and talent. Best wishes to all.”
Mention, Sharmin Rahman Rauma has also worked as a judge of ‘Seylon Super Singer’ in 2019 before.
In 2023, Rauma’s last song titled ‘Uru Uru Mon’ was released. Rabiul Islam Jibon wrote lyrics of the song while Manam Ahmed composed its music.
