Rajshahi announced on their Facebook page, ‘Najmul Hossain Shanto has been elected captain of Rajshahi Warriors. Under his strong leadership, Rajshahi will move forward with confidence and discipline to win.’
In addition to Shanto, the team also has experienced cricketers like Mushfiqur Rahim. There is also a Youth World Cup-winning captain like Akbar Ali. However, Rajshahi has placed its trust in Shanto, the national team’s Test captain, as its captain. They directly signed him to the team before the BPL auction.
